Topic: Target

A host shares a story about meeting a young retail worker named Toby at a Target in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The encounter led to a spiritual conversation about getting closer to God despite a busy work schedule and past negative experiences with church leadership. The host encouraged the worker to practice the presence of God through internal dialogue during daily tasks.

One host selects "Let's Pray" as the spiritual theme for the year, inspired by a chance encounter with a lonely man at a Target store. The initiative focuses on creating a mental filter to identify opportunities for low-key, public prayer for strangers in places like grocery stores. The Matthew West song "Don't Stop Praying" serves as a recurring musical reminder for this commitment.
