One host selects "Let's Pray" as the spiritual theme for the year, inspired by a chance encounter with a lonely man at a Target store. The initiative focuses on creating a mental filter to identify opportunities for low-key, public prayer for strangers in places like grocery stores. The Matthew West song "Don't Stop Praying" serves as a recurring musical reminder for this commitment.
The hosts reflect on the modern inability to be bored due to constant smartphone usage and dopamine hits from social media. They advocate for quiet moments, such as in the shower, to facilitate thinking and reference the Matthew West song Don't Stop Praying as a reminder of persistent faith.
Eric Metaxas filled a keynote slot at the Nashville conference, providing a finger on the pulse of current events following Charlie Kirk's absence. Matthew West and his daughter led worship sessions, performing anthems such as Unashamed. The atmosphere is described as a blend of grief and electric spiritual energy, incorporating quotes and clips curated by Matt Munt.
