A local church outreach program called Devos and Donuts recently hosted its largest event to date with 379 middle school students in attendance. The program, which originated in Nashville, features worship led by 14-year-old Jonah and a ten-minute gospel presentation. Teachers report that the monthly events lead to fewer behavioral issues and a calmer atmosphere within the school.
