Topic: James Talarico

The hosts critique a viral clip shared by Pastor Josh Howerton featuring Texas politician James Talarico. While the clip portrays Talarico as being "Team Satan" for opposing Bible stories in schools, the original footage shows a more nuanced stance on academic versus devotional teaching. The hosts emphasize the importance of intellectual integrity and verifying original sources even when they align with one's own political views.

The discussion turns to Texas State Representative James Talarico and his theological claims regarding the Gospel of Thomas. The hosts critique Talarico's assertion that the text was once part of the biblical canon and his use of it to argue that God is non-binary. They challenge his credentials and the progressive agenda they believe is being taught at the Presbyterian seminary in Austin.
