18: Pascal's Wager
Memorizing Scripture for Emergency Situations and Children's Ministry
A pastor explains his decision to lead the Lord's Prayer during every church service to ensure the congregation has scripture "burned into the gray matter" for future emergencies. He notes that the church's children's ministry director was surprised to find that the kids already knew the prayer by heart. The practice is intended to provide a spiritual "go-to" during medical crises or difficult situations.
