Nate Thomas, the founder of Mike Hanson Archives, was tragically killed in a bicycle accident on Highway 183 between Lockhart and Luling, Texas. The incident occurred on May 2, 2022, as Thomas was returning to Gonzales after a two-week cycling trip through East Texas and Bryan-College Station. His body was identified after a missing persons report was filed with the Gonzales Police Department on the following Friday.
