About this episode

Nate Thomas, the founder of the Mike Hanson Archives, died in a fatal bicycle accident on Highway 183 between Lockhart and Luling, Texas. The incident occurred on May 2, 2022, as Thomas returned to Gonzales following a two-week cycling expedition through East Texas and Bryan-College Station. His body was identified after the Gonzales Police Department received a missing persons report later that week.

Organizers scheduled a memorial service for June 5, 2022, at the Gonzales City Memorial Cemetery to honor Thomas's legacy. The Mike Hanson Archives team continues digitizing a massive collection of VHS tapes from Alex Jones's early career at Access TV, spanning 1995 to 2010. These historical records recently migrated to the Band.video platform to bypass YouTube censorship. Meanwhile, the Gonzales Association of Patriots issued a check to a local resident named Lauren to cover $1,800 in electricity deposits as she battles heart failure.

Mike Hanson delivers a personal tribute to his late colleague while presenting direct financial aid to neighbors in need. The archive project remains a primary focus for the team as they preserve the foundational media history of the InfoWars movement and the Austin public access scene.
