London Busking, Julian Cope Synchronicity
After moving to London with only 20 pounds, Steve Lovell spent nine months busking in the Underground. While performing at Bond Street Tube Station, he was recognized by Julian Cope of The Teardrop Explodes. Cope revealed that his management had been searching for Lovell to join the band as a guitarist, a moment Lovell attributes to his belief in creating his own destiny through action.
