Jonnie Jensen announces the Hero Academy launch for late November, a structured initiative designed to help men secure their 2021 goals amidst global uncertainty. The narrative centers on maintaining family traditions, including a Guy Fawkes Night celebration for children Rosie and Jago that emphasizes the value of supervised dangerous play.

New Hero Academy modules integrate Laughter Yoga and financial planning, while fitness advice shifts to home-based programs like Beachbody 10 Rounds and P90X following gym closures. Practical discipline strategies include moving alcohol to the garage and using fridge-door deterrents to manage diet. The F5 accountability group remains the primary vehicle for setting 90-day targets for health and finances.

Jonnie Jensen reflects on the complexities of dating at 46 during a pandemic and predicts a 2021 vaccine will trigger a third summer of love. The session concludes with a call for fathers to practice selfless giving by abandoning their phones over the weekend. CHAPTER 02 / 9 Discussion

Lockdown 2.0 Challenges and Managing Children's Social Calendars

The United Kingdom has entered a second lockdown, coinciding with the American election. For separated fathers, managing children's social lives presents a unique challenge, as mothers often traditionally handle the social diary and communication with other parents. Dads are encouraged to persist through communication hurdles and text message delays to ensure their children maintain social connections and fun during the pandemic.

lockdown· united kingdom· parenting· separation· play dates

02:13 And just generally what I've been up to. This week, if you have lived in a cave you will not have realised that America is having an election or the UK has gone into lockdown. Lockdown 2! I've been posting a little bit about both. It's, it's been... You know what? Like I said during the first lockdown not much different for me in terms of having the kids doing the shopping working working out you know it's it's it's a bit of its routine really is routine and you can't get away from that as working with one of the Team Super Dad guys this week and

02:53 And he's recently separated. And one of the challenges that dads have, and dads in relationships have this as well is that you don't know what to do with the kids if I don't mean like you don't know how to take them out but if play dates and friends coming over was always organized by the mum then suddenly your left wondering who do I call? Who are their friends? How do you make this happen? Kids who's you know parents are still together then it's the mom generally who manages the child social diary. Chat to the dad and say oh brilliant do you wanna come and do some fireworks or we're gonna go out on a bike ride join join a cum and they say yeah sounds great i bet speak to their mum and then he just grinds through a whole

03:44 Why? Why is that, why is that. Or the weird thing is when you call in the mum and I think this is just how women communicate. I think I said this on the Wednesday's live. Yeah, you call them up and then you get put to voicemail and then send a text but they don't respond. And about two hours later you get sorry we're away! That's it! It's like alright Do they hate me? Do they think I'm a weirdo or is that just how they communicate on text. I don't, I don't know. But it is a challenge for dads whether you're still together and you're trying to coordinate a kid's play date

04:25 Or whether you're all separated, you're trying to work out how on earth are going have some fun with the kids. But my message to you is don't let it be about you! Have a look in the mirror right if you are scary as hell sweating and... Maybe it is about you, right? But if you're just a normal everyday guy then the likelihood is that You trying to arrange the playdate and it not going very well. It's just normal. If you're coming on live now I can see people turning up then say hello let me know who you are where you are and And I'll bring you in! It's good to know isn't it so yeah That was that was the whole play date thing and that happened around Halloween Oh Yeah Halloween last week we did the wrap-up

CHAPTER 03 / 9 Discussion

Guy Fawkes Night Traditions and Dangerous Play with Kids

Guy Fawkes Night, or Bonfire Night, commemorates the failed 1605 Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament. In a personal anecdote, a father describes purchasing fireworks for his children, Rosie and Jago, despite the UK lockdown. The narrative emphasizes the importance of allowing children to engage in "dangerous" activities under supervision to teach safety and prevent them from taking risks behind their parents' backs.

guy fawkes night· bonfire night· fireworks· parenting· risk taking

05:09 And it kind of happened a little bit again with Fireworks Night, but obviously we're in lockdown in the UK now so you couldn't really organise that too much. Fireworks night if you're not from the UK, Bonfire night, Guy Fawkes night About 300 years ago, I'm going to get that completely wrong. Haven't got time to look it up a guy called Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the house of the parliament right kill all the politicians in the UK and The King found out and so they not only caught him but they hung, drawed and quartered him which basically means you hang them then you cut them at the middle till their guts fall out And ever since then in Britain we have Guy Fawkes night where we just make bonfires and set off fireworks

05:49 So last night it was fireworks night. Rosie, my powerhouse of a daughter came out of school going so daddy it's fireworks night what are we doing? I thought oh blimey! I thought it was lockdown she said well we could go to the shop and get some of this. Of course okay we should do that we should do that. So three different supermarkets managed to find some find some fireworks and rockets and little fountain sprinkly things and now in the garden And my boy, Jago 11 years old now just like I was when I was 11. If you if you leave a lighter around he will set fire to things right? It's just what boys do yeah so My attitude towards this is You've got to do dangerous things with your kids and let them do dangerous things because if you don't they're going to do it behind your back anyway So much better to do it with them in a safe fashion

06:42 where you get the opportunity to tell them how bloody stupid and dangerous this is. Otherwise, they're going to just go and do it anyway." So he was like eyes wide open like woohoo! I'm gonna make fireworks. And yeah so constantly leaning over the firework as he's lighting it. I mean my boy don't do that then then yes as he thought it was starting to light Jumping away from it too quickly so you weren't really sure whether it had lit or not, which is obviously not a good idea when you're flaming fireworks. And just generally the adrenaline as your launch 2 3 5 6 and these weren't big fireworks these were family garden fireworks but still the rockets

07:33 They're going up above the house, you know. You wouldn't want to get one of those in the face that's for sure so it was just brilliant and my message there is do dangerous things with your kids It's a rite of passage and otherwise they're gonna do it without you Better than equip your kids like this than leave them at their own whim and will basically So no sooner have you spoken about Halloween which is now here, thank you America for that and Guy Fawkes Night but you're into Christmas. And I just had this conversation with someone we've got no idea what Christmas is gonna hold for us some people talking about digital Christmas something were talking about how lonely and bleak it's going to be I don't think he's gonna be that bad I think in the grand scheme of things

CHAPTER 04 / 9 Discussion

Christmas Preparation and the Seven Day Create Focus Challenge

Men are urged to get organized for Christmas early to avoid the stress of online shopping shortages and fully booked schedules. To assist with personal discipline, Team Super Dad is hosting a "Seven Day Create Focus Challenge" starting November 14th on Facebook. The challenge aims to help fathers maintain focus on finances, family, and fun during the isolation of lockdown.

christmas· focus challenge· organization· holiday planning· team super dad

08:24 Hopefully they'll let us just get together at some degree over four days, five days which probably means it's going to be a wild party. But either way, right? We've only got six weeks and a message to men is get organized. Get organized now take the stress off yourself so clearly everything's going to be bought online mainly So if you wait till the last minute there's gonna be nothing left that's definitely gonna be the case And speak to people. This is a classic one that I always do, I call people the week before i want to do something and no surprise they've booked it up months ago! They're like, I could see you at Easter if you want so whatever your thinking and planning whatever you hope you might like to do with yourself with your kids get in now organize it now and uh... You know you could call that focus right? That's about being focused

09:18 If you're interested in making a breakthrough in your focus, then in the Team Super Dad group on Facebook that's facebook.com forward slash and groups forward slash team super dad starting on the 14th of November is a one week seven day focus challenge as to create focus challenge so without focus we have nothing so We can all do with understanding how we get focus, how we keep it why we need it and just focus around money. Focus around finances, focus around family and fun that's what will be covering and having a load of fun doing it is gonna be great way to get connected during lockdown and not feel completely isolated so come on over to TeamSuperDad.com forward slash createfocus and get involved with the challenge on the 14th

CHAPTER 05 / 9 Discussion

Laughter Yoga and Hero Academy Program Development

New content is being developed for the Hero Academy, including collaborations with finance experts and a laughter facilitator. A specific technique called Laughter Yoga is highlighted as a surprisingly empowering and relaxing practice involving group laughter over phone calls. These modules are designed to support fathers in areas of fitness, finances, and family, with future plans for a Valentine's Day Firewalk event.

laughter yoga· hero academy· course creation· mental health· fitness

10:11 On that subject basically creating focus and running the challenge I've been beavering away on the, on the...basically making money like the course creation so putting programs together for Team Super Dad. Things of value teaming up with some finance people for the finance section then bringing content in i just reached out to a guy on LinkedIn who is the laughter I once did this thing right, it was the weirdest thing ever but i'm actually going to try and do inside Team Super Dad. It is the weirdest thing he's a laughter facilitator right and I once did this so like a call in

10:53 You remember the days of phone, like group chats on phone calls? So there's a group chat and a phone call. It was called Laughter Yoga. Laughter Yoga it's a real thing, real thing and basically you spent I can't remember whether it was five minutes or ten minutes but it certainly felt like 10 minutes laughing just generating laughter like this might sound the weirdest thing to do but just a group of people Don't even know each other, can't even see each other because it's old school and we're on the phone. And you just laughing laughing and strangely empowering relaxing

11:30 And not strange, but at the end of it you can't help but have a smile on your face. So there's some of the things that putting together these people that are coming in and creating modules pieces of The Hero Academy that once you've signed up to, you get all of that inside The Hero Academy so whatever is that your focused on as a dad whether its fitness or finances family fun all different elements of that are inside Team Super Dad and The Hero Academy with Training, but then also the live staff. And then when we get together when the events we can get together and do face-to-face I'm still hanging out to do The Valentine's Day Firewalk will see if if you're allowed to do that But that's that's the plan there and If your part of the Hero Academy You'll get an invite as part of that and if your part of Team Super Dad in a free community Then of course you will be invited

CHAPTER 06 / 9 Discussion

Maintaining Fitness Motivation During Gym Closures

The closure of gyms during lockdown requires a shift toward home workouts like T25, Insanity, or P90. Despite the mental "blah blah blah" of excuses and fatigue, the message emphasizes doing the work anyway to maintain muscle and health. New programs such as Beachbody's "10 Rounds" boxing workout are suggested as ways to keep fitness routines varied while working from home.

fitness· home workout· t25· beachbody· insanity workout

12:23 So come on over and get involved. Where's my list gone? And fitness, I've got two more things to talk about fitness and dating right? Fitness, fitness it's bloody annoying that the gym shut again. Not sure i'm ready to get back into the home workout uh... It was kind of novel novelty first time round um...and thats just a conversation right its just a what am I trying to say We can decide to do something just as easily as we can decide not to do it right and particularly is something as easy as do 20 press ups or put the TV on and do a HIIT workout. The story that goes on of I'm tired, I can't get bothered, I don't want to put the mats out, I get all sweaty, I'd rather go outside why's the gym closed? Oh well just wait! All of that is just blah blah blah but the clearest message in spite of all those thoughts is I'm just going to do it anyway so

13:23 So I'm just gonna do it anyway. The, what's it called? T25 which I was doing all through lockdown one. I've still got that and I'm probably going to download or buy something new as well. I've been looking Beachbody do a thing called 10 rounds which is a boxing one and And oh, and then of course you got Shaun T's old famous one of Insanity or P90. So I could stretch it up a little bit and do one of those. I want to keep working on the muscles so... That's a challenge when you work at home is where you can get big enough weights to do that. But whatever your fitness challenge and goals are, don't let it slide just because we've gone into lockdown. You know? Don't suddenly start drinking more than you necessarily need to. Don't just start eating garbage because you're at home and you can open the fridge door

CHAPTER 07 / 9 Discussion

Practical Strategies for Diet, Alcohol, and Accountability

Practical tips for maintaining health include placing inspirational or deterrent photos on the fridge and moving alcohol to the garage to reduce consumption. Drinking sparkling water is suggested as a distraction from beer cravings. The F5 monthly accountability group is promoted as a tool for fathers to set 90-day goals and hold themselves to a higher standard of discipline.

weight loss· alcohol consumption· accountability· f5 group· sparkling water

14:16 If you find yourself opening the fridge door, then do something about it. Like put a picture on the front of the fridge of someone fat. You know? I don't mean that against fat people but if that's something you don't want to be then put it up there! If you are overweight then put a picture on there of someone slim like make it a target make it inspirational If drinking too much is a problem, then take the beer out of the house and put it in the garage. Like these are practical things or what I do mention this hundreds times before...I drink an insane amount of sparkling water because i think just simply the bubbles distract me from wanting to open a beer not to mention that fact that too many beers give me headache anyway but same with red wine you know im pretty good at resisting having it but some people aren't so put it out of reach if thats your problem

15:10 But just stay focused on the goal or the intention that you want to have and don't get stuck in oh well I can't do anything about it, it's just going to happen. No we've got six weeks till Christmas set that as a goal About 15-16 weeks till Valentine's Day, make that a goal. Whatever the time period go for three months and make it 90 days in the F5 which is the Team Super Dad monthly accountability group it's all about the four weeks Just see what the set that time scale in place. Say, right I'm going to do this over the next seven days or I'm going to do this over the next four weeks just do something to hold yourself to account and clearly getting inside a men's group like Team Super Dad is an even better way of holding yourself to account there motivating and inspiring you to get something done That's it! The wrap up. The wrap-up is complete... Oh dating yeah dating what a saga lockdown is so who knows what this means for

CHAPTER 08 / 9 Discussion

Dating at 46 and Hopes for a 2021 Summer of Love

Navigating the dating scene at age 46 during a lockdown presents challenges regarding commitment and transparency. There is optimism that a COVID-19 vaccine could lead to a "third summer of love" in 2021, reminiscent of the cultural shifts in 1990-91. A call to action is issued for listeners with historical expertise to clarify the dates of previous "summers of love" and the Gunpowder Plot.

dating· relationships· covid-19 vaccine· summer of love· history

16:17 For the Jonnie Jensen, Team Super Dad dating story. The I won't say much more about specific people, but it's it was lovely to go on some dates. I don't know what stage that particular person is at but that's the nature of being 46 year old and dating you use very difficult to dive into something and suddenly over commit And that's exactly what the other person wants which.

16:55 May or may not be the right idea, I don't know. The one thing i do know is that it should be enjoyable and as long as you're being upfront and straight with people about where your at what your intentions are then I dont think anyone can have a go for that or you can end up being hurt by that so if you're on the same page then just enjoy it! As for enjoying it...I cant even see anyone now! So oh man I think, maybe there is going to be a vaccine. Maybe we're gonna squash COVID and 2021 is gonna be the third summer of love. How about that? That'll be epic! The third summer of love. 1990-91 was the first... no not first second. It was the first summer of love with like all hippies and stuff like that right

17:46 I need to hang out with some more historians. So if you know the exact date of the first summer love, if you know the exact date of Guy Fawkes trying to blow up the Houses of Parliament. And get in touch, you can help me with my historical facts! The wrap-up crew is coming together I just need to get more organised and start bringing this all in so that we can have a group of dads... A group of men on the wrap-up together If you want to be one of those dads then message me reach out to me anywhere basically on my socials at Jonnie Jensen
