About this episode

Jonnie Jensen launched the Team Super Dad Fantasy Football League alongside the new Premier League season, inviting fathers to join via code ORZ4Y4. The broadcast centered on the Hero Academy launch, a monthly accountability program hosted on Zoom designed to optimize fitness, finance, family, focus, and fun. Jensen emphasized the urgency of parental presence at youth sporting events, citing a recent Maidstone FC match as a reminder that these developmental milestones are fleeting.

Secondary reports addressed the UK school uniform debate regarding underskirt shorts, noting that upskirting is now a specific criminal offense. Jensen reflected on the Me Too movement and modern masculinity, arguing that men often feel demonized in leadership roles and calling for gender equality modeled after the Black Lives Matter dialogue. Health updates focused on the rising COVID-19 R-rate in the UK, with Jensen recommending Zinc, Vitamin D, and Vitamin C supplements for winter immunity. Additional segments covered professional development through the Key Person of Influence mastermind and physical recovery using posture correction harnesses to manage chronic back pain.

A lighthearted moment in Brighton featured young Rosie Jensen taking a guest named Jo on a pedalo outing while inquiring about local pubs. Jensen closed the session with a tribute to his university friend Speedy and a spirited Come on you Spurs cheer for Tottenham. The episode serves as a precursor to an upcoming interview with Andy LaParta and a mobility deep-dive with back specialist Adam Cox.

The Premier League season is beginning, prompting the launch of the Team Super Dad Fantasy Football League. The official app is free to download globally, and the specific invite code for the community league is identified as "ORZ4Y4". Discussion includes the current state of Tottenham and the excitement of football returning for fans in the UK and America.

premier league· fantasy football· tottenham· official premier league app· football

02:06 Of course me and Jago are, why wouldn't we be? It is the start of the Premier League. Tottenham are usual stuff putting us through the mill wondering what are we going to do? Are we going to buy a new striker who knows probably not maybe maybe not maybe maybe not and uh we have the Team Super Dad Fantasy Football League. So the Premier League have their own fantasy football and we've got a team in there if you go to, um ah! The pain in the bum basically... If you go just comment below basically or go to any of the Team Super Dad pages teamsuperdad.com

02:47 On the blog, if you go to Facebook Team Super Dad my profile Jonnie Jensen and get the... Do you know what I should do? I should get the league number. Whilst i'm talking i'll bring up the league number I'll put it in the comments as we're chatting. So yeah, The Fantasy Football League is totally free! You can download the app from anywhere in the world and I know this because I've got friends and family in America Hello to all my American friends and family members of Team Super Dad as well who are... where are they? Can't do two things at once as always Join Leagues, Configure League And then we're going to find out what the invite code is. In fact, I can tell you what the invite code is even easier because it's on a web page! So whilst I'm wittering on about that here it comes two seconds yes so if you go to the Premier League Fantasy Premier League it's the official Premier League app If you enter this is lowercase O R Z number four Y and then four so ORZ 4

03:49 Why four and that will put you into the Team Super Dad League. I'll put it in the comments on the, um, I can put in the comments now. Yeah. Wow! So it's been a good week with my notes for the week absolutely epic Like I said, can't believe that Friday's back. Boys football as well as the Premier League being back boys football is back we went and played on Sunday played the best team around so the team were in the top league group a league A and then Maidstone which is the local proper like low made stone FC no surprise you'd hope there they're

CHAPTER 03 / 12 Discussion

Youth Football Matches and the Importance of Parental Presence

A recent youth football match involving Maidstone FC serves as a reminder for fathers to attend their children's sporting events. Reflecting on childhood memories of looking for a father on the sidelines, the narrative emphasizes that these moments cannot be recovered once missed. Gratitude is expressed toward volunteer coaches and managers who facilitate community sports for children.

04:32 Any age level they're at are also good. So they were good, but although we lost 5-0 it was only the first quarter that we got a real hammer in and the rest of game we only conceded two and hit the crossbar twice, the post, the keeper made about four saves... It was great game! I love watching my kids play football. I love kid sport, I love watching my girl Rosie dance. You know, I remember being a kid and looking to the sideline when the match was on. The first place I would look would be the sideline see if my dad was there and he was busy. He had stuff going on but that didn't change the fact that any game anytime the first place I looked was to see if my dad was there so as much as possible

05:14 Given your work, given other commitments. Be there be at your kids matches you know it's it's they we don't get these days back those occasions I would love to say I've made lots of friends thankfully the team that I'm in is a really good bunch of parents and we do get on...I can't say we've become bosom buddies out of it It's age, middle-age. It seems quite hard to make friends like proper friends that become regular people you hang out with I'm not excluding it and i know one of the goals and intentions of Team Super Dad one of our core tenets is fun so creating new friends having an active social life is absolutely vital but doesn't change the fact that isn't it's not quite as easy as perhaps we want it to be So I'm just putting this comment into the uh manually enter the league in the chat

06:16 Now, yes. There we go I've posted this you can see If you're watching, there is the code for the Team Super Dad Fantasy Football League. ORZ4Y4 Get involved! I think i came eighth last year just outside the European places. It's good banter though...I've created a WhatsApp group which just get in there first and then we'll sort out the WhatsApp group another day so great to be involved with that great to be involved my kids football and also big up to the managers and all the other coaches they give their time for absolutely nothing And they create so much joy for the rest of us. So it's good to appreciate those people, Jason thank you very much! So back onto my run in order for tonight... Oh my gosh! Last week we went down to Brighton making new friends and a cool lady called Jo. We're there I met her daughters got the dog at the same park and said my daughter Rosie goes let's go on The Pedalos

CHAPTER 04 / 12 Discussion

Rosie Jensen and the Pedalo Outing in Brighton

During a trip to Brighton, a young girl named Rosie took a new acquaintance named Jo out on pedalos. While on the water, Rosie reportedly questioned the woman about local pubs and suggested she take her father out. The anecdote highlights the child's bold and charming personality, drawing comparisons to her grandmother's spirit.

07:17 So she takes Joe out onto the pedloads and I had in my mind that Rosie was up to stuff. And it turns out from talking to Joe this week, that Rosie fully grilled her and was saying do you know any good pubs? Joe says yes names a couple and then Rosie says oh you should take my dad to one of them! Absolutely brilliant. Oh i didn't even know classic My Daughter is A Force To Be Reckoned With And long may that continue into all stages of her life. I'm pretty sure the spirit of my mum is somewhere inside her and all her, i don't know she's just charming and brave

CHAPTER 05 / 12 Discussion

School Uniform Policy and Underskirt Shorts Debate

A debate emerged regarding a new school uniform policy allowing girls to wear shorts under their skirts. While some parents introduced the idea through a lens of fear regarding boys' behavior, further research revealed that many women wear such garments for practical reasons like cycling or comfort. The discussion notes that "upskirting" became a specific criminal offense in the UK recently to protect personal decency.

school uniform· underskirt shorts· parenting· upskirting law· education

08:03 She's graceful as well when she wants to be. She's bold as brass and she's a, she's a powerful young lady so thank you Rose your epic! And which brings me on to another subject around schools So I got myself into a whole debate this week about... Well the debate wasn't about upskirts and the debate was about underskirt shorts tricky to say under skirt shorts They've introduced a new bit of uniform at my kids school where girls can wear shorts underneath their skirt, which seemed a bit strange to me. The first time I'd ever heard of it was when a mum came to the parent group which i run at the school and was saying how important it was that this got added to the school uniform and my problem with it was that it got introduced as

09:02 Girls have something to fear from boys and as far as my two go, maybe this is a bit naive. This has been labeled at me on Facebook that I'm naive to presume that that's my own childrens perspective is the only one but it just concerned me up until that point my daughter had never thought about wearing shorts under her skirt Because boys are trying to look at her knickers and my son is two years older about to be 11 has never had the thought of trying to look up people's skirts to see other peoples knickers. So this whole thing is being introduced to my children through, through the fear of other parents actually transpires that

09:45 Women do this all the time, I didn't even know this. Women wear shorts under their skirts apparently good for riding bikes good for gusty wind days good if your legs happen to rub a little bit at the thighs when you're when it's hotter weather and some chafing and people women in America have commented women in the UK have commented so yeah Good to ask these questions, otherwise you never even bloody know. At secondary school seems like a bigger problem in the UK there is an upskirting law that got introduced I think it was last year actually i looked it up so that makes upskirting so the taking of pictures up people's skirts is now a crime and rightly so sure some level

CHAPTER 06 / 12 Discussion

Masculinity, Me Too Movement, and Modern Gender Dynamics

The conversation shifts to the challenges men face in navigating modern social expectations and the "Me Too" movement. There is a concern that everyday men are being demonized or feel unsure of their roles in leadership and social interaction. The segment calls for true equality for both genders and encourages open dialogue to broaden perspectives, similar to discussions surrounding Black Lives Matter.

masculinity· me too movement· toxic masculinity· equality· gender roles

10:29 abuse of people's personal space and decency as well. So, but yeah it's still like wow the reason I got some flack and i did actually kind of try to engender this...I used the word is it demonizing men in the Facebook post? And to some degree some of the responses that I got back were was so strong that it did just prove my point where there is an inherent fear of the things that men are doing And that's the first thing that people think, then then that is half the problem. Well not half... That's part of the problem that men have in the world at this moment in time where Me Too movement rightly exists but the impact of that on everyday good guys and how they're being judged now

11:23 It just makes it difficult for men to understand how to behave in the world, not behave. Of course we know how to behave. We know not to go slapping women on the ass and taking pictures up their skirts but in terms of our own masculinity, the degree to which you could confidently say hello to a woman or compliment her on something about her I don't know, her attire or how she's looking or something that she did like that's one part of it and in the household as well much of a leadership role you can take as a dad, how much grief you know you can put up with on the other hand before saying or doing something bad. Like it's a complicated subject and it's all too easy in the world at the moment for women to make these sweeping statements about men and then the media jump on the bandwagon and we'll just have to pull out with it

12:17 And so I feel that going into the future, like equality rightly so but equality on all levels. Equality for men and women, equality for women and men And no surprise that somewhere in the comments, the old toxic masculinity got waved around. I find it pretty ironic that the people who generally bring that up are people who outwardly speak of their own feminist views and so Is this like Black Lives Matter and being unaware of subjects? Well, possibly. You know I didn't know about how many women wore shorts under their skirts or for how many years that has been a quite normal thing. I've since managed to actually find some short undershirt shorts and buy them for my daughter because she wanted them and that's cool they're just shorts right but

13:11 But it's just very interesting about how these subjects get brought up and how they get dealt with. So love to hear your feedback on that, love to hear your experiences of that if you're a dad who is feeling that... You're just not quite sure what the role of masculinity is at your home in your work and business If you feel like you've been robbed of what it is to be a man then these are interesting things too to hear about Pretty much as I've learned from having conversations with some black people around Black Lives Matters, only through these questions and understanding can we broaden our perspective on things. So what am i not? I'm not worried! I'm not fearful of having those conversations um and uh it's all good when you get like 50 odd comments on any Facebook post that's that's good for other reasons so thank you everybody. Good & Bad bring them On

CHAPTER 07 / 12 Discussion

CHAPTER 08 / 12 Discussion

Reconnecting with Old Friends and UK COVID-19 Concerns

A visit from a long-time university friend, nicknamed "Speedy," highlights the importance of maintaining social connections for mental well-being. The pair visited a local cafe in the UK, noting the lack of patrons as the COVID-19 R-rate begins to rise again. There is a call for a new level of societal acceptance and resilience as the country moves toward winter.

friendship· university friends· london· covid-19· r-rate

15:40 Old mates visiting. I mentioned fun and friends inside there, I had Speedy down this week one of my oldest friends from as far back as university goes and his name is not Speedy hilarious when we lived in London together he came down and was talking to people who worked with introducing himself as Peter looking to grow up in the world and have everyone know him as Peter. And of course, no sooner did I started talking about him and shouting, oh he's Speedy! In the pub then all his new friends started calling him Speedy as well so... He will always be Speedy and it will always be good to see him we had a great sort of 12 hours together not seen him literally for over a year which is a shame but yeah just brilliant there's

16:28 Speaking personally, there's nothing better than hanging out with old friends because you just get straight back in the groove. You've got such a connection it's good to hear about what they've been up to is obviously love and affection for them succeeding but also there's that there's the laughter as well and just the honest genuine laughter of hanging out with old friends we had dinner We watched some telly, we had some laughs. We had breakfast in the CAF, good old British CAF. Sadly, we were the only people in there. People just aren't venturing out which as the UK goes above one in the R-rate as well who knows what's going to happen in winter? I hope that we all just get on with it. I hope we just all get on with it and find a new level of acceptance for this COVID thing

CHAPTER 09 / 12 Discussion

Immune System Support and Winter Health Supplements

Recommendations for boosting the immune system ahead of winter include taking Zinc, Vitamin D, and Vitamin C. Specific supplement routines involving multivitamin powders and tablets for both adults and children are shared. Maintaining physical fitness and nutritional support is presented as a proactive way to stay safe during the ongoing health crisis.

zinc· vitamin d· vitamin c· immune system· supplements

17:17 Find a new way of putting up with it and that they find a vaccine and the cure for it all soon. Personally speaking, get yourself some zinc, some vitamin D and some vitamin C tablets I will post a link in the Team Super Dad group and on the team super dad page or some stuff I've been taking which is basically those things as well as my multivitamin from bulk powders Also, boosting my immune system with it's a zinc and vitamin C tablet. And it's the vitamin... Oh no that one I got for the kids! The kids have got vitamin C and zinc tablets and then a separate vitamin D. Then I've got this other Zinc and B-Vits and Vitamin D all in one so just if nothing else do loads of things get out stay fit but Go out and get yourself some multivitamins particularly focus around

18:12 Zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D and the vitamin B's to really boost your immune system. If we go into winter and you want to stay safe then that's gotta be part of the process which leaves me on two final things so yeah my fitness and pain like oh my gosh! So if you follow The Daily Sweat in Team Super Dad group you'll know that I post every day my different exercises from everyday and it's been hard over last week with back pain shoulder pain i've just today bought and ill show you next week I'll send, put pictures up as well. I've bought a posture correction like gizmo it's like a harness shoulder strap and i thought they were bollocks basically but uh a couple of different people said to me today oh was on the mastermind

CHAPTER 10 / 12 Discussion

Posture Correction Gizmos and Professional Masterminds

Investment in professional masterminds, such as "Change Your Game" or "Key Person of Influence," is cited as vital for sharpening one's skills. On a physical level, the use of a posture correction harness is discussed as a solution for chronic back and shoulder pain. The segment emphasizes that "sharpening the sword" applies to both business expertise and physical health.

posture correction· mastermind· stephen covey· change your game· business accelerator

19:07 If you don't invest in a mastermind then you really should be. Obviously the Team Super Dad Mastermind is where I'm going to point you, but that's more for accelerating your dad life really there are ones for work and business and find out about it get yourself on them. I'm on the Change Your Game Mastermind, I've done The Key Person of Influence Mastermind and Business Accelerator these these training, this enhancement, this taking on new skills sharpening the sword as Stephen Covey says are absolutely vital to your success and future. And my back yeah so I bought the harness thing funny enough a girl i dated when i was younger

19:47 quite big boobs. So she had to have like, a thing to work on her posture bless her. I won't mention the name but a quality woman who I'm still in contact with so she knows who she is. Howdy! Um, so it's going to come and then the kids are I'm I don't know, a bit like a diet or something like that. Amongst men's groups lots of people are picking up this is from Andy Frisella who used to have a supplements company he's now got quite well very popular podcast he's quite sort of right wing you know in American right wing way Republican right-wing way so if uh if you're not a fan of Trump or some of those leanings then you might not enjoy his podcast but the 75 hard movement is pretty amazing

CHAPTER 11 / 12 Discussion

Managing Chronic Pain and Osteopath Consultations

Addressing physical pain is framed as a necessity for maintaining a high-functioning life, referencing the 75 Hard movement by Andy Frisella. Whether pain is caused by stress, posture, or lack of fitness, the advice is to seek professional help from specialists like osteopaths. Upcoming podcast guests, including back specialist Adam Cox, are mentioned as resources for listeners dealing with mobility issues.

osteopathy· chronic pain· andy frisella· 75 hard· physical therapy

21:02 for any super fit members of Team Super Dad, we'll consider that. And I'm seeing the osteopath and just working on that as like don't be in pain don't put up with pain you've got to work on it You gotta make sure your body is a machine there to support you my dad's 77 just chatting with him last week when i was having dinner with him And as well as his old age and what comes with that, we've got to get him more mobile and in less pain. So whatever age you're at it's not okay to live life in everyday pain some of it will be brought on by stress some of it will be brought on by posture other parts will be brought on just a lack of general fitness

21:43 Who wants to put up and contend with regular everyday pain? It's not necessary. So address it, come on over into Team Super Dad and we'll talk about it. I've got a couple of guests Adam Cox is a back specialist and um...I'm having a conversation with an old osteopath friend of mine about coming on the podcast he's not so keen on coming on the podcast but I have said to him you'll be great! You're a lot fun this is going to be easy this can be good I guess finally on that point if you've enjoyed the podcast please go over and leave us a review. iTunes is the best place, if there's an area for reviews on the podcast
