42: Who Owns Your Future?
Church Community Outreach and Local Philanthropy
The local church is actively engaged in community support, including a drive to provide 200 backpacks filled with school supplies for families and teachers. Previous efforts included paying off $11,000 in school lunch deficits for local students. The hosts emphasize that a church should function like a "clubhouse" or family that takes care of its own, providing a cure for the loneliness often found in larger cities.
