30: Royals, Resilience and Revival
Simplicity in Prayer and the Matthew 6 Model
A host reflects on the model prayer in Matthew 6, questioning if he is overcomplicating his own prayers. Jesus instructed his followers not to pray like hypocrites on street corners for attention, but to pray in secret. The host notes that the Lord's Prayer uses collective language like "our Father" and "forgive us," prompting a discussion on whether modern prayers have become too wordy or self-centered.
