About this episode

Roger Hamilton created the Wealth Dynamics profiling system to help entrepreneurs like Louise Miller identify their natural flow and avoid the burnout of misaligned tasks. This framework categorizes business owners into eight distinct profiles including the Creator, Star, Supporter, Dealmaker, Trader, Accumulator, Lord, and Mechanic. By mapping these roles against the four primary energies of Dynamo, Blaze, Steel, and Tempo, individuals can pinpoint whether they excel at innovation, networking, systems, or reliability.

Louise Miller reveals that her own assessment showed high Steel and Tempo energy but only 8% Blaze and 12% Dynamo energy. These specific metrics informed the decision to produce a solo podcast rather than an interview-based series to preserve social energy. The data also highlights how an Accumulator profile benefits from partnerships with high-Blaze personalities like Teresa Heath-Waring, whose Star profile balances the speaker's focus on project management. These insights challenge standard productivity myths, such as the necessity of rigid calendars or the idea that working from bed is inherently unproductive.

Listeners are invited to explore the Make It Happen Club as a sanctuary for clarity and focus for solo business owners. The episode features a candid look at how personal energy scores dictate sustainable business strategy and long-term collaboration. Support for the Unfrazzle podcast is available through BuyMeACoffee as the show continues to advocate for individualized working conditions over universal productivity rules.

CHAPTER 02 / 8 Discussion

Wealth Dynamics Profiling System for Business Flow

Wealth Dynamics is a profiling system created by Roger Hamilton designed to help entrepreneurs find their "flow" and identify personal superpowers. Similar to Myers-Briggs or the Enneagram, the system categorizes individuals into eight profiles to clarify where to focus energy and where to seek support. The framework aims to prevent business owners from wasting time on tasks that do not align with their natural strengths.

01:30 If you've ever wondered why your business bestie can show up on camera with very little prep and be utterly captivating when it takes you half a day to record a two minute video, or why some people are so great at connecting people but have trouble staying in contact with the people you meet. Or why the person you admire so greatly seems to come up with new and innovative ideas every five minutes when you're more inclined to go deep on one thing. This episode is for you! Today I'm going to be talking about Wealth Dynamics, So first thing i want you just to ignore the name. Wealth Dynamics is not a great name...so let's not get too fixated on that but wealth dynamics have been very impactful in my business so i wanted to tell you a bit about it today. The idea behind this is that it will help you find and follow your flow

02:13 So that you can succeed in a way that feels good and easeful for you. It's a profiling system essentially, A bit like Myers-Briggs and the Enneagram And all of those other profiling tools. And it is designed to bring clarity and direction so that You can focus your efforts on things that will actually work for you And stop wasting your time and energy on things that aren't such a good fit. The reason I'm sharing this with you today Is because its really great reminder That we cant all be good at everything And that when you hone in on your own superpowers instead of trying to copy everyone else, that is when you're going to build momentum and see real progress in your business. So Wealth Dynamics will help you understand yourself better. It will explain why certain things can feel like pulling teeth for you and suggest where to put your energy to get the best results, and it's also really good at helping you see where you might need support. The guy who created Wealth Dynamics Roger Hamilton has identified eight profiles each of which has its own kind of strengths and weaknesses and the idea is that when you understand your profile and how you work best your journey to success will be far smoother

CHAPTER 03 / 8 Discussion

Eight Wealth Dynamics Profiles and Personality Traits

The Wealth Dynamics system identifies eight distinct profiles: Creator, Star, Supporter, Dealmaker, Trader, Accumulator, Lord, and Mechanic. Creators excel at starting projects while Mechanics focus on completion and perfectionism. The Accumulator profile, which the speaker identifies as, specializes in project management and organization. Each profile is defined by its specific strengths, weaknesses, and the type of "flow" it generates.

creator profile· star profile· accumulator profile· mechanic profile· dealmaker profile

03:14 So the first profile is the creator and creators are great at getting things started but terrible at finishing. They use their quick thinking and their imagination to get out of trouble, Their flow comes from expressing their creativity in valuable ways And they're really high in dynamo energy and I'll talk about that in a moment Then you've got the star profile and stars are excellent promoters. They're high in both dynamo and blaze energy, again I'll come on to that! They are quick on their feet they can sometimes seem to dominate the conversation and stars are best when they use their sparkle to shine the light on others

03:50 Then we've got the Supporter and supporters are excellent with people and will always be found in the middle of the party. They've got strong blaze energy, and their flow comes from being actively involved in leading others in fun and worthwhile adventures Then we've got the Dealmaker. They're strong in blaze and tempo energy, so they're down to earth they have a strong sense of timing and loyalty And they're best when they're connecting people and ideas together for everyone's benefit So they're really great connectors Then we've got the Trader. So traders have their ear to the ground and they've got strong tempo energy They're quiet by nature and will often only share if asked and they find their flow in keeping the peace and keeping things on time

04:30 Then we have the Accumulator profile and this is me. Accumulators are excellent project managers and researchers, they've got really strong tempo and steel energy And their flow comes from collecting and organising what's already there Then we have the Lord profile and Lords are great at the detail with strong steel energy. They won't be the loudest voice in the room but they are best at researching and studying information, then coming up with considered decisions so they're really great when looking after all of the details. And finally we've got Mechanics. So mechanics are best at completing things. They're really high on steel & dynamo energy

05:06 They can be perfectionists, so they can sometimes take longer to get things done but their flow comes from taking things apart and finding better ways to put them back together. So because you're human, you're probably listening to that and trying to work out which one you are. But I don't want you get too hung up on trying to work that out right now. You know people often guess wrong and i actually had a full-blown tantrum when i found out my profile and i don't think i've given you enough information there anyway to help you figure out which one feels like you just giving your really top level overview the part of wealth dynamics i want to focus on today is much simpler and i hope it'll be easier for you to see where you sit even if you don't take the full wealth dynamics assessment

CHAPTER 04 / 8 Discussion

Four Energy Types in Wealth Dynamics Square

The Wealth Dynamics profiles are positioned around a square representing four primary energies: Dynamo, Blaze, Steel, and Tempo. Dynamo energy drives innovation and starts, while Blaze energy focuses on networking and people. Steel energy is systems-oriented and detail-heavy, whereas Tempo energy is characterized by compassion and reliability. Most individuals lean toward specific energies rather than having an equal distribution across all four.

dynamo energy· blaze energy· steel energy· tempo energy· personality assessment

05:46 So imagine those eight profiles are positioned around a square. Now each side of that square represents a different energy and those energies are dynamo, blaze steel and tempo so when you take the assessment you receive a score across all of those different energies so that you can see where you are naturally strongest People with a lot of dynamo energy are energised, dynamic and really great at getting things started but getting things finished can be a challenge. Those who have lots of blaze energy are passionate, outgoing and great networking and meeting new people but can easily be distracted from the task at hand So people who have lots of steel energy are orderly and systems oriented with a really good eye for detail, strong at completing but can find it difficult to start new things. And folks with strong tempo energy are compassionate great team players and reliable at getting things done they're really great at seeing the wood for the trees but sometimes can miss the big picture so I know that some of that might seem a bit abstract but hopefully you're seeing how the four of those energy types when combined

06:45 Would make a really well-rounded person who's great at starting and finishing, is great with people brilliant with systems, great spotting the detail and will reliably get things done. But here is the thing it's no surprise I'm sure! It's extremely rare to see all of those attributes equally distributed in a single human because we are all far more likely to lean one way or another So for example, when I did my profile I came out at 44% Steel 36% Tempo 12% Dynamo and just 8% Blaze. Which explains why even though i love people, I find building and maintaining relationships can be quite challenging

CHAPTER 05 / 8 Discussion

Personal Business Strategy Based on Low Blaze and Dynamo Energy

A personal assessment revealing high Steel and Tempo energy but very low Blaze (8%) and Dynamo (12%) energy informed specific business decisions. This lack of Blaze energy led to the choice of a solo podcast format rather than an interview-based show to conserve social energy. Additionally, the low Dynamo score provided permission to focus on consistency and depth rather than constantly launching new products or offers.

solo podcasting· networking· atomicon· business marketing· personality profile

07:23 So let me give you a few quick examples of what that looks like in practice and how I've built my business in a way that suits my profile. And hopefully, that will inspire you to think about this for yourself as well! Firstly the fact that I'm so strong in steel and tempo means that I am definitely the person you want in your corner if things feel chaotic and if you need someone to help you create order keep an eye on the detail and help you finish things. The tempo side speaks to the kind of compassionate way I approach things Hopefully, quite warm non-judgmental all that stuff that comes into the tempo energy. So that bit I think seems fairly obvious right? The energy types are strongest for me or the foundation i've built my business on. The thing that i'm selling, the way that I help people is beautifully aligned with that but the pieces it might not seem so obvious are how i've used in awareness of my strengths and limitations when i'm marketing my business. As I shared I have a teeny tiny amount of blaze energy just 8%

08:18 And that's the energy you need to be outgoing and excitable when mixing with loads of people. And I used that knowledge when i decided to start this podcast, I knew that if I was going to make a podcast and it was going to go the distance it needed to be a solo show because finding and inviting and interviewing guests would take so much effort for me and so much energy that I don't have If I'd have gone down that road and done kind of an interview style podcast this podcast would probably not made it past its first month And I think that low blaze energy also explains why i felt so weirded out at Atomicon the last time. People I didn't know were recognizing me and as lovely as that was, I found it really discombobulating! So I don't go to lots of events the only networking I do is online where the space is very carefully and beautifully managed because I have so little of that energy in my profile

09:10 And someone with high Blaze energy, they need that interaction and that buzz to keep them motivated. And they want someone to bounce things off and they love finding new ways to collaborate. That is amazing but it's not for me! The other part of my profile that is interesting is I'm low in Dynamo Energy just 12% of that People with dynamo energy are often innovators who love to shine, love to start new things. And my Wealth Dynamics profile has given me permission not be that way I don't have loads of ideas and am not creating new offers left right and centre When i first started my business I thought that would hold me back That I didn't have the creative spark that needed to be successful

CHAPTER 06 / 8 Discussion

Complementary Profiles and Collaboration with Teresa Heath-Waring

Understanding personal profiles allows business owners to find support from individuals with complementary strengths. A partnership with client Teresa Heath-Waring illustrates this, as her "Star" profile (high Blaze and Dynamo) perfectly balances the speaker's "Accumulator" profile (high Steel and Tempo). This alignment has facilitated a successful two-year working relationship by filling each other's energy gaps.

teresa heath-waring· star profile· accumulator profile· business support· collaboration

09:50 But now I can see that it's by going deeper and staying consistent with the things i'm already doing. So Make It Happen Club is five this year for example, I've done over 100 episodes of this podcast that's when I will have the greatest chance of success but if you're someone with sky-high dynamo energy the thought of guiding the same planning process every month for five years as I have done would feel absolutely soul destroying So can you see how understanding which of these energies is naturally strongest for you, can help you find more ease as you grow your business? And the other thing I love about all this is that when you understand yourself in this way it becomes so much easier to surround yourself with support from people who can fill the gaps in your own profile. Let me give a quick example what I mean

10:34 As I've already said, i'm an accumulator profile who is very strong in tempo and steel energy. One of my clients, Teresa Heath-Waring, is a star profile so she's on the opposite side of the square and is very high in blaze and dynamo energy. And after she took the assessment she sent her results over to me and we had a good giggle about it because it was a perfect match if we put our two charts on top of each other they evened each other out I provided the steel and the tempo that was missing from her profile, which i think is why we've been working so well together for two years now. And actually whilst we're on this subject of Teresa, I know she doesn't mind me sharing all of this with you let me give you another quick example of how understanding yourself better is good for your productivity

CHAPTER 07 / 8 Discussion

Productivity Myths and Individual Working Conditions

Standard productivity advice, such as rigid calendar structuring, can be counterproductive for certain profiles like the "Star," who may feel restricted by fixed plans. One client found increased productivity by accepting that they work best from bed, highlighting that there is no universal way to be productive. Business owners are encouraged to prioritize what feels "in flow" rather than emulating the habits of others.

productivity· calendar management· working from bed· business flow· self-awareness

11:13 So when we first started working together, Teresa told me she wanted structure. She wanted to know what was happening when and to see that mapped out in her diary and we tried that for a while and it didn't work every time she looked at her calendar she had a really sinking feeling and she didn't want to follow through And then she took the Wealth Dynamics assessment and it all started to make sense so one of the things it says in her report is lock a star in a fixed plan with no variety and don't expect them to shine She had asked me to help her find a structure because she thought that's what you should do if you want to be more productive, but actually for her it was counterproductive. Which brings me back to the main reason I'm sharing all of this with you. It's not because iIm an expert in Wealth Dynamics, because I'm not and I will share a link for you to take the assessment but that's not an affiliate link! I'm not going to get anything if you go and take that assessment. I'm sharing this with you because it highlights the fact that we are not all wired the same, that there's more than one way to succeed and that what's in flow for me might not be in flow for you so if you get too hung up on the idea of how a productive person organises themselves

12:16 There is a good chance that you're slowing yourself down. One of my clients recently had the revelation that it's okay to work from bed and the transformation in how much she's getting done and how she feels doing it has been huge! So instead of looking at other people that you see being productive, trying to emulate them... It's a far better use of your energy to consider what's in flow for YOU, what feels good & what conditions YOU need to do your best work. Pay attention to those things and you'll be well on your way to finding more ease And profiling tools can be a really great starting point to help with all of that, but please don't underestimate what you already know about yourself. Taking the Wealth Dynamics assessment isn't cheap – I am going to include a link in the show notes – it is an investment and whilst it did make a big difference for me, I realise that it may not be accessible for everyone so if you don't want or are not in a position to take this test then that's okay! I just encourage you think about what lights you up and feels like wading through treacle
