In 1974, Martin Luther King Jr.'s mother, Alberta King, was assassinated inside a church by Marcus Wayne Chennault. Chennault was allegedly part of a group called "The Troop," based out of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which targeted Black religious leaders. The lack of media exploitation of this tragedy is compared to the handling of the Seth Rich case, suggesting a suppression of certain narratives.
