A severe fire caused by a space heater destroyed one of the houses at the Davy Crockett Courts motel. The Fire Marshal identified the origin of the blaze at a dinette set where the heater ignited, leading to the melting of appliances, televisions, and air conditioning units. Cleanup efforts are scheduled to begin as the owner assesses the total loss of the interior contents.
