Law enforcement reportedly identified that the plants were not marijuana within 30 seconds of arrival but continued to ransack the homes for nearly 40 minutes. This extended search is described as a "contrived charade" intended to find any excuse to justify the initial illegal entry. Despite the intensive search of all three residences, no drugs or illegal residues were found.
