Brent Johnson explains his theory that most government authority is based on voluntary contracts, such as the application for a Social Security number. He argues that by possessing a Social Security card, individuals agree to become federal property in exchange for benefits, thereby stepping outside Constitutional protections into civil contract law. Johnson, as director of Freedom Bound, teaches people how to sever these contracts to reclaim their status as sovereign individuals.
