Placebo Effect comes up in 2 chapters across 2 episodes of The Jonnie Jensen Show, from July 2020 to January 2023.
Interest in the deeper power of meditation grew after discovering Dr. Joe Dispenza and the film What the Bleep. These resources introduced concepts of quantum physics and the energy fields surrounding individuals. The discussion highlights the placebo effect as a real-world example of the mind's persuasive power over the body, where sugar tablets can produce healing results based on belief.
Energy Healing Mechanics and the Field of Connection
Richard Flewitt discusses the history of energy healing, noting that terms like Reiki are often used for marketing purposes to describe the same underlying energy work. He references the documentary "Heal" and admits that while the exact mechanics of healing—whether through the placebo effect or genuine energy transfer—are not fully understood, the positive impact on clients is measurable.
