About this episode

Dr. Joe Dispenza and the quantum physics principles found in the film What the Bleep provide the scientific foundation for a new approach to mental resilience. This framework moves beyond simple relaxation to treat the mind as a placebo capable of influencing physical reality and personal energy. By leveraging the Law of Attraction and the Reticular Activating System, individuals can transition from the stress of divorce to a state of active creation.

Specific techniques include the I Am code by Wayne Dyer and the use of alpha and beta sound waves to alter brain states. The Team Superdad community utilizes these tools alongside the Insight Timer app to manage the prefrontal cortex and improve focus. Evidence from practitioners in Balham and Clapham Common suggests that even fifteen minutes of mental stillness can trigger the biological mechanisms required for manifesting new housing and relationships. These methods prioritize the science of intention over passive sitting to ensure fathers notice opportunities that align with their specific life goals.

Personal anecdotes from the host include a first encounter with yoganista in London and a celebratory 50th birthday brunch for a friend named Paul. The session concludes with a direct challenge to skeptics to maintain a thirty-day practice to test improvements in motivation and clarity. Listeners are invited to join the digital community at teamsuperdad.com to access coaching calls and peer support.

So without further ado let's do this!

CHAPTER 02 / 7 Discussion

First Experiences With Yoga and Meditation in London

A personal anecdote describes the host's first encounter with meditation during yoga classes in Balham and Clapham Common, London. The sessions concluded with a 15-minute relaxation period, often referred to as yoganista, which provided a first experience of mental processing and "nothingness." The host mentions preparing for a 50th birthday brunch for a friend named Paul following the recording.

yoga· balham· clapham common· meditation· mindfulness

01:28 Meditation, right? People have a lot of strange ideas about meditation. The first time I ever meditated was at the end of some yoga basically we were living in London friend of mine started taking us to a yoga place in Balham or Clapham on Clapham Common quite... Not Buddhist, but quite I guess. I don't know what...I don't know. Apologies to people that do no better but you know they had the outfits on right and it was a pretty chilled out place so it may well have been a Buddhist thing I don't know um But it was..so then you would then you would that you would do the yoga and then there'd be kind of the 15 minute bit at the end The is called yoganista or the chill-out bit at the end

02:15 Took me a few weeks to get past the fact that some people would fart during it but anyway. That was my first experience of getting into that real space of nothingness and not nothing is where nothing goes on, but where the rest of your mind kicks in and starts to process and wander off and generate new thoughts and it's that that is the break Welcome to the people dropping in. If you want to comment then please by all means I should be able to pick it up, you should say hi tell me hello let me know what you're doing this morning um i've got a lemon tea here we're about to go and have a birthday brunch with my good friend Paul and his gang he's 50 hilarious! We're gonna have as many 50th birthdays in the next three or four years they'll be like weddings when we're in our 30s so meditation yeah

CHAPTER 03 / 7 Discussion

Dr. Joe Dispenza, Quantum Physics, and the Placebo Effect

The discussion shifts to the scientific and energetic aspects of meditation, specifically referencing the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza and the film "What the Bleep." The host explains the placebo effect as a demonstration of the mind's persuasive power over the body. This framework is used to explain how meditation can be utilized for more than just sleep or relaxation, tapping into the energy of quantum physics.

dr. joe dispenza· quantum physics· placebo effect· what the bleep· guided meditation

03:16 I then started to have a little exploration into guided meditations and the use of it for more than just relaxing, but actually for sleep. And I've always used it quite a lot as a tune down at the end of the day before sleep. But it was only really when I started to read I discovered a guy called Dr. Joe Dispenza, but i started to get interested in the power of meditation. I watched a movie called What The Bleep which started to open up my mind to quantum physics and really this you know the energy that exists all around us

04:07 And if you find that a bit weird, as Dr. Joe Dispenza often mentions it happens in everyday life around the placebo effect and if you give two sets of people two groups of people medicine tell them that it's going to make them better while their medicines is nothing more than a sugar tablet and the other is the medicine and it you know the results come back and the percentage of people who got better with the non-medicine It's the power, the persuasive power of the mind over the body. And then in regards to that quantum physics and the energy that is all around us we can put that out to others and you think well what does that mean Jonnie? Well just this week I was working with one of my dad clients one on the team superdad dads

CHAPTER 04 / 7 Discussion

Divorce Recovery and the Law of Attraction

A case study of a client from Team Superdad illustrates how shifting focus from negative stress to positive goals can attract new opportunities following a divorce. The host links this phenomenon to the Law of Attraction, "The Secret," and the biblical principle of "ask and it shall be given." By using vision boards and goal setting, individuals can move from a state of worry to a state of creation.

divorce· law of attraction· vision boards· the secret· christianity

05:01 A tremendous amount of opportunity has come his way in the last couple of months. And this is off the back of a divorce, right? Which you'd think would be a horrific time and of course it is a challenge there are challenges to overcome but quite often a divorce will come at the end of a really extended period of stress and strain so you're not really creating anything you're worried about things breaking you're actually focused on negative stuff The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen Show,

05:43 Your vision boards, your goals. You're actually the life you want to create for yourself What sort of time do you want to spend with your children? What sort of money do you want? How's your job work? What kind of relation new relationship would would you really love to have like instead of worried about what you don't want and blimey getting more of that you start To create what you do one and no surprise this guy is the latest example of it Amazing opportunity starts to come your way now This isn't this isn't like oh That's lucky, you know. It is even more than serendipitous if you're familiar with the secret, the law of attraction but that the science behind that is as I mentioned quantum physics If you're religious in the Bible ask and it shall be given...it's an incredible element of Christianity right? People don't really just say the prayer or they read the thing they don't really understand that ask and it shall be given

CHAPTER 05 / 7 Discussion

Reticular Activating System and the Science of Intention

The host explains the biological mechanisms behind goal achievement, focusing on the prefrontal cortex and the Reticular Activating System (RAS). Meditation is described as a creative process that trains the brain to notice opportunities and people that align with one's intentions. This process requires active mental engagement rather than passive sitting to manifest specific life changes like new relationships or housing.

ras· reticular activating system· prefrontal cortex· brain science· goal setting

06:41 Yeah, in religion it's about prayer. But it's also about the action that you put in place to support that and meditation is very very... The same in that regard you can't just lay there and decide oh I want a five bedroom house and a wonderful relationship It's not THAT The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen

07:26 And it's then that you start to engage your brain around the idea of having those things, of creating that life that you want. Of meeting that person and so your prefrontal cortex and your RAS, your reticular activating system starts to process its actions and observe people around you in the world and what you read and what you notice it all starts It all starts to focus in on that goal, on that intention. And that is the wonder of meditation as a creative process

CHAPTER 06 / 7 Discussion

Meditation Styles, Sound Waves, and Digital Tools

Various meditation methods are explored, including the use of alpha and beta sound waves and the "I Am" code by Wayne Dyer. The host suggests that walking in nature can be a meditative process for those who struggle with sitting still. Digital resources like the Insight Timer app are recommended for accessing millions of wellness recordings and different flavors of guided practice.

wayne dyer· insight timer· alpha waves· beta waves· walking meditation

08:03 You don't have to sit quietly, although Dr. Joe Dispenza's meditations are a very guided process some other meditations like famous ones Wayne Dyer's I Am Code right it's more just Peaceful music, but it's on alpha and beta waves like different... I told you I'm not the guru right? But on different levels. The sound levels what are they called? The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen

08:56 Walking can be a very meditative process. Okay, so if you're not comfortable with the sitting down and listening to things going for a walk... I don't mean go necessarily for a walk down the flipping Oxford High Street in London or somewhere really busy you need to get out into nature and feel and observe the world around you but when you do that and then you consciously create this space in your mind for yeah I want to go for this walk and i want you my brain, to work on the new house vision. The new business vision the new relationship vision so YouTube's full of meditations um Insight Timer is an incredible app where people post their meditations and yoga stuff and all that kind of wellness

09:54 Audio wellness tools. There are literally millions of recordings there so it's about finding a flavor that works for you I'm in the process right now of creating some meditations that will be going to go into The Hero Academy or beyond the YouTube channel, that are based on some of my favorite styles Whether that's the silver method, whether that's Dr. Joe Dispenza, some of Wayne Dyer's methods... So it's like I said it's very much about finding something that works for you whether you do on your own or with other people but going back to the magic of it, the actual power to create
