RAC Studios, Orchestral Production and Career Transition
Steve Lovell details his transition into record production at RAC Studios in St. John's Wood, working under Mickey Most. Despite initial inexperience, he successfully managed a 40-piece orchestra for a Julian Cope session, leading to a 20-year career in the studio. Eventually, the isolation of studio life led him to crave a traditional family environment, prompting a desire to leave the music business.
