Football Trials comes up in 2 chapters across 1 episode of The Jonnie Jensen Show, in September 2020.
A trip to the Tottenham Hotspur store at White Heart Lane to purchase a birthday football kit for Jago turned into a stressful ordeal due to a major accident on the M25 motorway. Despite careful planning to return in time for a district school football trial, the family became trapped in gridlock. During the delay, Jago accidentally ripped a hole in his new £25 Spurs brand Nike socks while trying to remove the packaging.
Despite arriving late and driving at high speeds to reach the football trial, the host emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive outlook to influence outcomes. The coach allowed Jago to participate immediately upon arrival, and he successfully progressed to the final shortlist of 30 players. The stressful afternoon concluded with a celebratory pizza and movie night at home.
