About this episode

Jonnie Jensen concludes the summer of 2020 with a strategic roadmap for fathers navigating the UK Bank Holiday and the return of schools following the COVID-19 lockdown. The Team Superdad Launchpad Summit transitions to a multi-session format designed to stabilize personal finances and fitness goals ahead of the November US election. Jensen emphasizes the necessity of structured vision planning to combat the year's inherent chaos.

Nootropics specialist David Thoman details how men over 35 utilize biohacking and natural supplements to restore memory, libido, and concentration levels. Thoman draws on his professional background in the Miami yacht industry and Caribbean telecommunications to explain the intersection of high-performance environments and cognitive health. Additional insights focus on the reopening of British schools as a vital step for child independence, while James Clear’s Atomic Habits and Gay Hendricks’ The Big Leap provide the framework for sustainable behavioral change.

Jensen recounts a grueling family camping trip involving 50-mile-per-hour winds and extreme heat before shifting focus to his son Jago’s upcoming football match with the Green Army. The session features a deep dive into the Message to Millions curriculum by Ted McGrath and a reflection on the transition from self-employment to collaborative growth. Jonnie Jensen signs off with a look toward the 2020 Vision Roadmap and the importance of leaning into personal discomfort.

Team Superdad Launchpad Summit and 2020 Vision Roadmap

The Team Superdad Launchpad Summit has been restructured from a single six-hour event into a series of sessions focused on creating a vision roadmap for the remainder of 2020. The program covers four primary pillars: personal goals, fitness, finances, and family fun. Jensen references the chaotic nature of 2020, including the upcoming November election in the United States, as a reason for dads to seek better structure and income growth.

01:45 It's the end of summer. Summer, I'm much happier when it comes like the beginning of summer than the end of summer. I'm not a massive fan of winter is pretty hectic. Okay, okay back to school kids birthdays half term which is like school holidays in the UK and then before you know it thinking about Christmas and what the hell we're going to do and organize that so It's just insane. And then you get through to January and you go, oh my gosh that was hectic! So I'm much happier going into summer than going into autumn winter but I guess we just face that head on and make it happen basically this last week I've had some awesome conversations around Team Superdad the Launchpad Summit

02:26 You know, I'd planned on it being like a Saturday afternoon thing like six hours long and it just occurred to me through some conversations that A. That was quite hard to manage B. Could people dedicate that amount of time? And C... What was C?! There's pros and cons to it basically but anyway so the Team Superdeath Summit is now going to run across The Jonnie Jensen Show,

03:10 Pretty much it's going to be a workbook, it's going to be like a micro course where you get to dive into and create with the workbook a real goal and vision roadmap for the end of the year 2020. What a shitty weird crazy year has been! And for all our friends family team Superdad crew in America I mean I watch a fair bit of American news and it just seems absolutely wild what's going on there. And the election is coming up in November, you'd think that might help things but it's probably gonna make even crazier so

03:49 Love and thoughts and prayers go out to you. But why was I saying that? I've forgotten, oh yeah the workbook Team Superdad Summit! Yeah so focus on setting the four nights up on the first night with thinking about focusing goals and vision for yourself in your life And then moving into fitness on the second night and then the third night is going to be finances. So really getting a handle on where your money's at and looking at how you can grow, increase your income end of this year going into 2021 And Family and Fun is the final session. So really, most importantly to be quite honest it doesn't come last because it's least important It comes last because that's what I want to end you with like if you've got your finances in track and you've got your fitness in track then its all about spending more time with the people you love Your family, friends having a great time so thats the Team Superdad thats the launchpad If you go over to teamsuperdad.com forward slash launch pad then you can check all that out Go do it now

CHAPTER 03 / 6 Discussion

David Thoman Interview, Nootropics and Cognitive Performance

Nootropics expert David Thoman joins the podcast to discuss naturally occurring chemicals and supplements that enhance memory, vision, and libido. 04:52 Had a lot of fun this week on the Team Subadab Podcast. What's David Thoman, here is his biog. Got it right there! The guy is like new tropics expert world-renowned new tropics expert. New Tropics are subject of like supplements, naturally occurring chemicals found in food found in well our body produces these things as well but these are chemicals. These are things that we become deficient in so and as you become deficient in them particularly get into sort of 35 plus then your memory goes, your vision goes, libido concentration

05:40 Energy like so many aspects of life and we're all used to particularly if we were ravers, we're all used to taking things have a good time and to feel good probably for longer than we should have. And equally over the last blimey Ritalin, if you've got a kid who's on the old spectrum. You might have heard of Ritalin but and if you work in the creative sector, you might try to get some Ritalin into to get through long work sessions and stuff but the world of Nootropics is absolutely fascinating because these are naturally occurring now we can biohack

Family Camping Trip and UK Schools Reopening

A recent family camping trip involved staying in a caravan during 50-mile-per-hour winds and extreme heat. The "Junior J's" are scheduled to return to school next week following the COVID-19 lockdown period. The return to school is framed as a necessary step for children to regain independence, structure, and social interaction with their peers.

07:01 I've been on a camping trip with the kids. Thankfully, we found a caravan to go and stay in that was just wild! A real slice of British culture all sorts but this lockdown this Corona life we live in you know it would have been fine It was really hot but for like 50 mile an hour winds absolutely what's going on in the world blazing heat at 50 miles per hour winds What is going on? But yeah, the Junior J's are going back to school next week. And I mean more than anything and I'm glad for my own life but more than this I'm glad for them because it's just it's weird they need to hang out in mates they need to run around they need to feel free uh they need to have some structure and some independence as well It's no good being cooped up with their family all the time So I'm really looking forward to that and I hope that it goes well for...for all kids going back to school
