About this episode

Jonnie Jensen launches Season 2 of the Team Super Dad podcast following a transformative period of global upheaval involving the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical tensions in Iran and Russia. Jensen reveals how the 2020 lockdown shifted his own parenting from legal battles to a 50/50 shared custody arrangement, setting the stage for a broader mission beyond the initial focus on single-father relationship recovery. The platform now pivots toward a holistic growth model for fathers, coinciding with a massive surge in United Kingdom bicycle sales and a renewed public interest in physical health.

The Rebuild program returns this summer as a peer-led initiative designed to move men from recovery to high-level performance in finance, property development, and networking. Jensen clarifies that his coaching philosophy prioritizes action and leadership over clinical counseling, with plans to integrate sports stars and relationship experts into the community. The One Goal Challenge debuts on June 14th, tasking participants with a seven-day sprint to master one specific habit, such as daily exercise or quitting caffeine, using the proprietary Six Fs framework. The Team Super Dad Facebook group has officially surpassed 100 members, serving as a hub for men navigating job interviews, business expansion, and the complexities of modern dating.

Andy Arter from the Transform Your Wealth and Health podcast joins the program to interview Jensen about the core motivations behind the community expansion. Future events promise high-adrenaline bonding through firewalking, skydiving, and racing to complement the Monday Night Expert Hangouts. Jensen encourages members to complete the new two-minute survey to shape the upcoming F5 launch and secure priority access via the official mailing list.

CHAPTER 02 / 9 Discussion

Global Events of 2020 and Personal Lockdown Impact

The first six months of 2020 are reviewed, noting the rapid succession of global events including the COVID-19 pandemic, international tensions involving Iran and Russia, and civil unrest. These events significantly altered personal lives, specifically regarding child custody arrangements and family time during lockdown. A shift from court battles to a shared 50/50 parenting schedule is highlighted as a positive outcome of the pandemic's unique circumstances.

corona· race wars· iran· lockdown· child custody

01:48 People taking a knee all around the world and that is straight off the back of Corona, which in fact was straight off the back of the US and Iran almost being at war. And a whole load of crazy stuff with Russia and the Middle East... I can't believe how much has happened in six months! And you know it's impacted everybody's lives. On a most granular level in my life, I am seeing my kids more almost too much and i mean that with tongue-in-cheek because I absolutely adore seeing them but to go from

02:31 Fighting in court to have a fair share of access to them, now as the result of the challenges that lockdown brought. We're doing three days with one parent, one day where we have one child each and then three days with the other parent which Which I've fought for so long to have. And so, you know everybody's experiences of this lockdown have been personal to themselves and for some people in business that has been a real challenge probably losing their businesses as the reality for some situations other people who are employees being furloughed and having more time with their kids than partner than they've ever had could be a wonderful thing or it could put real pressure on their relationship

CHAPTER 03 / 9 Discussion

UK Bike Sales Surge and Team Super Dad Evolution

Physical fitness trends in the United Kingdom show a massive surge in bicycle sales, with reported 12-week waiting lists for new bikes. This shift in public health habits coincides with an evolution of the Team Super Dad mission. Originally focused strictly on single fathers and the "painful stuff" of relationship breakdowns, the brand is expanding its scope to avoid being restricted by toxic or polarized subjects.

bike sales· united kingdom· fitness· mindset· single dads

03:20 The I'm fitter than i've ever been and I know lots of other people who have taken this opportunity to be working at home, to be running more. Bike sales in the UK are absolutely through the roof you can't get a bike now apparently! I saw it on TV but there's like a 12 week wait for a bike This is bonkers absolutely amazing and so quite befitting that I've got developments to share with you about Team Super Dad And this really comes from

04:05 An evolution of my mindset and of my heart, um, of time. You know a year ago when Team Super Dad fully launched as those who know my story you can go back to the very first episode of the Team Super Dad podcast I'll warn you! I do warble on for a little bit too long but You know, you get an essence there. Well not an essence...you just get really clear what my heart was for the launch of Team Super Dad and it's very much focused around single dads And that's where I was at that point still coming through some of the painful stuff of fighting for my kids But you know the reality of that is that It excluded a lot of dads and its also quite toxic subject actually

CHAPTER 04 / 9 Discussion

Rebuild Program Reboot and Professional Coaching Philosophy

The Rebuild program is scheduled for a reboot and relaunch later in the summer to assist fathers recovering from relationship breakdowns. While acknowledging the need for support in broken places, the focus is shifting toward a peer-group model where members inspire each other through action. The role of a coach is defined as leading and coaxing rather than providing professional clinical counseling, which is better served by specialized networks.

rebuild program· coaching· mental health· peer support· single parents

04:52 For many men, let alone women the rawness of their relationship breakdown and perhaps the constraints they've had on put on their time with their children makes it a very polarised and entrenched Experience, you know it's literally our fighting for something day in day out. And in my wording around Team Super Dad the launch It was all about single dads kickstarting their lives The rebuild program which still exists and is going to be rebooted and launched again later on in the summer Is for dads looking to rebuild after that experience but too many of the dads that I was speaking to him working with were

05:41 In a very broken place and there's nothing wrong with that. And I am here to help those people, but I had to be responsible for my own well-being and you know what? I've coached many many people now. I've worked in multiple masterminds and been counselled by so many people. I've been through my own experiences and one of the things that i'm not here to do is It's been able to professionally help those people, you know. The role of a coach is to lead and coax, you know? And particularly around Team Super Dad there's that peer group where we're learning from each other and being inspired by each other's actions. There are so many single parent groups that are great support network for people in that real

06:35 I'm You can have it all. It's always been about what do we need to learn to be able to have success in all areas of our lives and so someone said to me actually, a good friend of mine's wife Liz she said to me last year don't you think you're going to be quite like...you're gonna be restricted? You're gonna be almost stuck in that subject of single dad and at the time I was so impassioned too and I was still part of it to be honest and that's why I felt that it was the right place to be but

CHAPTER 05 / 9 Discussion

Future Growth Goals and Professional Networking Expansion

Future objectives for the community include expanding into areas of finance, property development, and high-level networking. Plans involve bringing in experts such as relationship specialists, sports stars, and celebrities to help members achieve a "10% more" improvement in their lives. The goal is to move beyond recovery and toward active growth in business, friendships, and personal wealth.

property developers· relationship experts· business growth· celebrities· lifestyle

07:33 Ultimately this time, a year on as I address my finances and my relationships future relationships, my friendships wanting to expand my business grow with my children buy bigger home. This is all about pushing forward And the people that I can bring in, that I can be around. The property developers, the coaches, the relationship experts, even some of the famous people and celebrities and sports stars Coming, becoming part of the family at Team Super Dad. It really really is about having more and what would your life be like if you had 10% more? What would it take? Would it be getting up early? Would it be being a bit fitter?

One Goal Challenge Launch and the Six Fs

The One Goal Challenge is set to launch on June 14th as a seven-day program designed to help men achieve a single specific objective without feeling overwhelmed. Participants might choose goals such as quitting coffee, performing daily exercise, or planning family activities. The segment also references the "Six Fs" of the program, humorously incorporating the "F-word" as a core theme for the community's branding.

one goal challenge· expert hangouts· f-word· habits· personal development

09:15 I was trying to find another word for it and then someone said to me on one of my interviews the other night, he said what about fornication? And so in an almost Blackadder-esque way there is a secret sixth F which is part Team Super Dad. Someone else had told me today as we were talking about it they said you know so this also team super doesn't... Team Super Dad is all about the f-word! And I was like hell yeah absolutely hell yeah we are the f-word we are the f bomb It's great to be able to share this with you. You know, the Expert Hangouts on a Monday night have been awesome I've got the One Goal Challenge launching in just about 10 days time so it's June 2nd now So June 14th will be the launch of the... that's a 7 day challenge To achieve in one goal

10:02 And so, you know in many things we take stuff on and we can get overwhelmed. But actually what would it be like to give up coffee for that week? To do 10 press ups a day? Um...to make a plan to hang out with your partner and um..and to do something fun with your kids like that's just one goal The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen, Team Super Dad.

CHAPTER 07 / 9 Discussion

Facebook Community Engagement and Social Media Influence

The Team Super Dad Facebook group has surpassed 100 members and is being positioned as a primary hub for peer support. Members are encouraged to actively participate by sharing challenges related to dating, job interviews, business expansion, or parenting. An anecdote about a previous digital marketing presentation illustrates the importance of making growth feel accessible rather than like an insurmountable mountain.

facebook group· social media· digital marketing· networking· peer support

10:44 The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen, Team Super Dad I did a presentation once, it was all about social media. As a digital marketing coach and it was all about training a room of social people and I was trying something new and I made this big presentation about a mountain how we were going to climb the top of the mountain when you got to the top of the mountain you'd be an influencer and you could see across your whole industry and everyone could see up to you And this one guy said to me Jonnie...I don't care how cool is I ain't climbing no flipping Mountain

11:25 Because he already thought it was going to be hard, right? And then I put a picture of a mountain on top of it. So...I've got some sensitivity around that and what better way to solve than than to put out the community said oh by the way The Facebook group is absolutely growing, growing, growing We're way past 100 members now Clearly there's bigger groups on Facebook, but they all started somewhere. And the more dads we can bring in... and here's the important thing don't just join and ignore me you absolute arses! Just you know I could see how many people look at the posts so

12:05 Whatever it takes, you know if it's posting something yourself of what you're up to. What you're having a challenge with whether you know what is your going on a date and want some advice? You putting up a new dating profile and you wanna run it past some people If you're going for job interview, if you thinking about expanding your business acquiring a competitor buying a car buying a house investing some money Cooking something your kids probably won't eat. Like whatever it is, let's get it in the Facebook group Let's be a support to each other. Let's have a laugh together And let's keep on inviting others to the group It's gonna be an exciting year ahead like I said at the start of this we're six months in so if what you've done So far got you to here What are you going to do in the next six months to get you to the next level and that's what Team Super Dad is about

CHAPTER 08 / 9 Discussion

Member Survey and Email List Benefits

A new member survey is circulating to gather feedback on the community's direction, taking approximately two to four minutes to complete. Joining the official mailing list is emphasized as essential for accessing free downloads and exclusive content from podcast guests. Spaces for upcoming challenges, including the F5 launch, will be prioritized for those on the email list to ensure motivated individuals receive the best opportunities.

12:56 The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen, Team Super Dad But as well as being a pub, there's some absolutely awesome people involved who you're going to get to meet and network with and learn from. So you might have seen the survey going around at the moment it took me a couple of minutes to whiz through but I'm hearing from people it takes a little bit longer to complete which I guess I should have figured

13:40 But it is just about two minutes, four minutes something like that to complete the survey. So if you're seeing that going around please complete it!
