A church member requested a hospital visit from their pastors while they were on vacation. Despite being in gym clothes and preparing for personal time, the couple immediately diverted to the hospital to provide support. This act of service reinforced their identity as spiritual first responders and reignited their passion for ministry as their vacation period concluded.

The discussion addresses the concept of "church hurt," arguing that while individuals may cause pain, the institution of the church provides essential support during crises.
