02:13 Because, you know no matter how long you've been in business that emotional roller coaster never really goes away does it? And with so much heaviness in the world not to mention the challenges I know that many of my solo business owner friends have been facing over the last few years. It is a lot! So if you're tired, that's okay. I'm looking forward to some time off over the summer and i really hope that you've scheduled in some time out too but let's be honest...I know from working with so many clients over the years that the idea of taking a break can be a bit stressful because there's nobody to do the work in your absence is there? So the idea of switching off and taking a proper break can feel impossible and that is exactly why I encourage everyone to up their planning game at this time of year
02:56 And it might seem counterintuitive, but when you want to work less you need to plan more. Because looking at what you need to get done during the summer months and how much time you have to do it is what will allow you to enjoy your summer free from guilt. That's true for anyone who wants a break but even more so if you have the added challenge of school holidays to contend with Because when you take time to think and time to plan what you're going to do, and what you're not going to do over the summer. You will know that you have time and space for everything that's important And then when you are choosing to work, you'll use those working hours wisely focusing on what is most impactful rather than frittering away your time. You'll also stop fretting about things you haven't done because you actively chose not to do them knowing they could wait
03:46 And it also can help you resist the urge to just quickly check your emails when you're on holiday because as part of your planning, you might choose to protect some space after your break to deal with whatever comes up. So you won't feel like you're going to be up against it, You'll know that you've got space to kind of land back into your work in a kinda calmer measured way. Whilst it's tempting to skip planning right now at this time of year because the kids are gonna be off school and I'm gonna be on holiday so what's the point? That is precisely why you need to make time for planning at this time of year And I promise that you will feel lighter and free to enjoy your summer as a result So if you've tried planning on your own and you know that doesn't translate into actually getting things done, you will be very welcome to join us in Make It Happen Club. I'm going to be guiding members to make some decisions about what to focus on from July to September during our next quarterly planning session in a few weeks time
