About this episode

Louise Miller reveals the final phase of the Inspired Action Framework to help solo business owners convert passive membership students into active implementers. This ten-step methodology utilizes the treehouse concept to align long-term vision with immediate capacity, moving beyond rigid spreadsheets to engage hot executive function. Miller argues that emotional buy-in is the critical catalyst for transformation in any digital community.

Successful membership retention relies on a precise balance of inspiration, information, and implementation to prevent student stagnation. The framework emphasizes realistic aim-setting based on current life capacity rather than generic templates or high-pressure productivity hacks. Business owners can access the full guide at louisemiller.uk to visualize these curriculum shifts. Prioritizing action over consumption leads to higher completion rates and more impactful testimonials for growing brands.

CHAPTER 02 / 4 Discussion

Inspired Action Framework for Membership Implementation

The Inspired Action Framework provides a ten-step process to help membership owners move their students from passive learning to active implementation. By using the "treehouse" concept, creators help members visualize their long-term vision and set realistic aims based on their current life capacity. This method engages hot executive function by building emotional buy-in rather than relying on rigid templates or spreadsheets.

01:30 Over the last two episodes of this three-part series I've talked about why your members might not be implementing what they're learning in your membership and why the usual fixes like accountability and one size fits all planning sessions don't always work. So today I'm going to give you something you can actually use, To help your members take action. It's the Inspired Action Framework and i'm really excited to share it with you! This all starts with giving your people time in the treehouse Again lifting them up above the forest floor so that you're not leaving them walking around in circles And encouraging them to reflect and then make some intentional choices So that they are taking action in a way that feels good and actually gets them moving forward

02:09 So the first thing is around creating the conditions for your people to take action and that is all about giving them time in that treehouse. And when they are in that tree house, here's what I would love for you to get them thinking about. Wanting to get them thinking about their vision? So what do they want their life to look like in 12 months time or in five years time? Relate this back to the thing that your membership helps them with. For me, because Make It Happen Club is for business owners I will ask them what they want their business to look and feel like in twelve months' time so get them thinking about their vision then get them really clear about their aims What do they want to achieve in the next however many days The timeframe is up to you but what are they actually aiming to achieve And again relate that back to the thing that your membership helps them with

02:53 Then the next thing to do is to invite them to build a picture of why that thing is important. So ask them what becomes possible when they achieve that thing, Ask them what happens if they don't achieve that thing And then you can invite them to head into your membership and just have a little look at the resources and support that you have available that is going to help them achieve that thing. So, that is what will help them put their blinkers on and hunt out content that's actually going to move them forward, relevant to the aim they have right now. That will prevent overwhelm and paralysis from having access to so much incredible information. I know

03:30 Giving them that pathway. A lot of you will have roadmaps and pathways and things, but I think if you can integrate that into the time in the treehouse, the planning that you're doing with them get them to start thinking then about which pieces of content specifically they're going to work on That is going to really help them take action with so much more ease And once you've done that ask them to decide what their committing too So what actions are they going to take? And then get them to check in with what else is going on in their life. So these actions that they're committing to, how do they fit in with everything else that they're juggling? You know as we said on the very first part of this series your people are likely very busy and juggling all kinds of things so make sure they're thinking about that and then based on their capacity Is it realistic and achievable that they're gonna be able to do the things that they're committing to doing

04:26 Just invite them to think about that and then they can make some adjustments that will help them make sure that the plan that they're making is more realistic. Get them thinking about the obstacles that might get in their way, the support that they will ask for...get them to think ahead of time about how they're going to stay motivated because you know things get difficult things get boring we get a bit uncomfortable if we haven't got that emotional buy-in around why we want to do the thing it can be very difficult to stay motivated and keep going even when things feel a bit tricky So if you can do all of that for your members, you're going to be setting them up for fabulousness. And when you go deeper with your members in this way, You will make sure they are not viewing your membership as existing in a vacuum They will see how it can fit in with the rest of their life and give them the outcome that they want By doing something different by no being really prescriptive in this process, you are giving them space to find what works for them. Your'e not just handing them a template or spreadsheet

05:26 Or telling them to break their project down and put it in their diary. You're giving them space to think, you've given them space to find what works for them by asking a few deeper questions your strengthening that emotional connection to the things that they are committing to doing which is getting there hot executive function on board not just cold executive function and all of those things will set your people up for greatness So I know i just covered a lot so, I have pulled all of this together for you to download. So that you can refer back to it as you think about how you're going to integrate this into your membership. So I call all of this the Inspired Action Framework and with the download you'll get an overview of the 10 steps I just shared together with some pro tips that will make this even more effective for you and your members! CHAPTER 03 / 4 Discussion

Transformation through Inspiration and Implementation

Achieving transformation within a membership requires a balance of inspiration, information, and implementation. Prioritizing implementation as an integral part of a curriculum leads to higher completion rates, better testimonials, and increased member retention. Business owners are encouraged to download the Inspired Action Framework guide at louisemiller.uk to visualize these steps.

transformation· implementation· curriculum completion· testimonials· member retention

06:15 In order to achieve any kind of transformation, we need inspiration information and implementation. And I have no doubt at all that your membership is packed full of information And that you and the other members are providing inspiration by the bucketload. That is why you created your membership after all, isn't it? To inspire people to help them see what's possible for them and give them information they need to make that happen But what about implementation?

06:54 How can you create the conditions that will make it easier for your members to take action even when life is lifing around them? How can you treat implementation not as an afterthought but as an integral part of your offering. And when you find a way to do that, you will see higher completion rate as people work through your resources or curriculum You'll get better testimonials because taking action results in faster transformation and increased retention because when your members see themselves making progress they won't want to leave membership So your members will get focus and progress, and you get higher retention. So it's a win-win for everyone! I encourage you if you are a membership owner or if you like the sound of this framework And want to be able to see it, visualize it Go grab your copy of the Inspired Action Framework and have fun integrating this into your membership As always hope that helps and look forward to seeing again soon
