01:35 When it comes to actually getting stuff done, I much prefer go small or go nowhere. Because yes i want you to dream big but those big dreams can also trip you up and keep you stuck if you're not careful and the reason i'm so passionate about helping people with their planning is that i've seen time and time again creative inspired people with brilliant ideas who hit a wall of overwhelm and then get stuck And the enormity of the thing they want to create can actually get in the way of them making it happen. So one of my 1-to-1 clients had a really beautiful, big vision She was very much a visionary and had no trouble at all seeing big things in her future and she also had absolute belief that they were possible so you might think she's got it all sorted right but actually she wasn't moving forward and she kept putting those big exciting things off because she didn't know where to start
02:29 She'd wanted to run live events for years but although she could clearly see the experience she wanted people to have, that vision again was really strong for her. The detail involved in organizing an event felt absolutely overwhelming to her. And when she finally realized that and could see that she wasn't going to be able to get unstuck on her own, She asked for my help! Together we broke down her vision of a gorgeous in-person event We broke it down into manageable steps making it easy for her to take action With the support of her team she put on a brilliant live event in London Since then she's been running those events regularly
03:07 And that, I think is a perfect example of how Go Big or Go Home can be great when it comes to creating a vision and deciding what you'd love to accomplish. Having those big dreams is inspiring and exciting so I absolutely don't want to discourage that but when it comes to actually getting stuff done It's so important to get granular because if you don't there's a real risk that you'll stay stuck Because the enormity of the thing you want to achieve will feel impossible to surmount So when there's something exciting that you would love to accomplish, the best advice I can give you is to keep asking yourself what's the next teeniest tiniest thing that i need to do to move this project forward? That's what will keep you taking action and moving closer to that goal. So remember go small or go nowhere! And as always I hope that this helps and I look forward to seeing you again soon
