Delta Force Training Cancellation, San Antonio Bribery Allegations
The cancellation of Delta Force training exercises in Central Texas is attributed to local resistance and leadership from figures like San Antonio Police Chief Phillipus. Allegations surfaced that military representatives attempted to bribe local officials with $10,000 charitable donations to permit urban warfare drills involving live fire and building demolitions. The discussion emphasizes the importance of local law enforcement maintaining their specific mission purview against federal military encroachment.

00:00 I love Mike Hanson Archives. He used to say the police isn't lying themselves, it could very well be that this is a diversionary tactic so everybody will just kind of go away and not worry about it and then they're going to do this training anyway. I tend to think that perhaps the police were lied too Delta Force has a history of lying to people doing whatever it takes to get their training to take place And I tend to think that perhaps they just lied to the Police Department in order that everybody would go away and they could do this quietly. My second thought on this is, I almost in some ways deep down because of the similarities to colonial America, I almost kind of secretly wished we couldn't have stopped it except for the fact that people's safety would be jeopardized Because if we couldn't have stopped it they would've been here you coulda seen with your own eyes We coulda filmed it
00:55 people who normally wouldn't care or wouldn't have known about this would hear about it and it'll just step up the resistance even more. I've said to Alex and people around here privately, you know, our enemies of freedom do more to recruit freedom fighters than I ever could do. I could spend the rest of my life trying to get people involved in the Freedom Movement and I wouldn't recruit half the people that Delta Force showing up once... But see, Steve I see your point of view on that and understand what you're saying, but what i'm talking about is it's vital that local law enforcement understand that this is not their mission purview like San Antonio did. They attempted to bribe people and the reason San Antonio probably would have let them in was because they've blown up so many buildings
01:42 caused so much damage, I mean i've played it eight times we're not going to play again for a couple weeks or so the interview with the police chief former Delta Force Commander Stephen Berry lot of people they're practicing rounding up civilians they are practicing taking over water treatment plants and others in fact you have some excerpts from Clinton's speech May 20th where he says this for our best interest at the Naval Academy that's right Something that people I respect told me is Alex, they said Alex you've got to not believe the Delta Force. They're probably going to try and send in Marines or something now And as we read in the statesman things they have marines training around the country practicing taking over things and doing live fire on streets So we gotta continue to stay vigilant but this importance says Now there's no precedent here in Central Texas for these guys to come into our community
02:33 Now there's no precedent and local law enforcement has been forced to be conscious of this, and how it is not in the mission purview as Chief Phillip said who had been in the military. And who had a top security clearance himself. He'd been in the military he understood this he wasn't a buffoon or idiot That's why we need leadership. One mayor standing up in a whole country, one police chief can have repercussions that are felt everywhere and that is why I get so angry at petty leaders because they get into feeling like the only way to go is with the government It's been a small victory. I haven't said an incredible victory in 100 years. No, it is an incredible victory and I didn't mean to downplay it at all In fact, I think its quite the opposite. It shows once again that just a few people with their efforts focused can make a very big difference We keep talking about recruiting more numbers and I think thats important don't misunderstand me but I heard the phrase one time our strength lies not in numbers but in unity
03:34 and it was that focus of doing it that I think got this accomplished, and I think that's fantastic. People are always talking if you really listen to me not that I have all the answers, I'm just saying... Listen what I say, I am not one of these people who sits up here says we need volunteers Right And I probably said it once everybody else has said it 3 thousand times I'm not one of these people who says this or that I say if you've got some videotape somebody abusing ya get it to me I say uh.. If you want to go in lobbying people and get their face yourself if you wanna come down at this rally Go right ahead I want people to go out and do what they wanna do. I just want them... Follow their heart? I just want them to start acting, because I know that three years ago when I started this with all the problems, the lights cranked up and me going like this and everything but slowly but surely
04:20 A little better here, a little better there. People support me like Mike and Buckley and Andy and you So many other people I see Greg Erickson out doing his protest getting things going I see so many other people that are out there willing to do things And that's what important What's really important we got some phone calls Mike if you want to start putting those calls through Call her Mike is in there playing a joke Caller, are you there? Can you hear me? Yeah. Okay I just wanted to touch on something that...I really haven't seen a whole lot of coverage here in Central Texas but it's actually something that is going on in West Texas
